Introducing Travel Handmade!  What is Travel Handmade you ask? A fun series focusing on bags, bags, and more bags!  Whether you’re traveling a couple miles or hundreds of miles, we think it’s fun to have even just one pretty handmade bag to travel with!  If you can’t make it to Sewing Summit this year, perhaps you need a new make up bag or a weekend bag for that family trip to the beach!

For the month of September, we’ll be sharing our favorite resources, tutorials, and patterns for all things travel! We’ll have posts here on the Sewing Summit blog as well as a blog hop with lots of fun projects! We hope it will be a great way for you all to get to know the teachers and staff a bit better, and give us all something handmade to bring along to the big event! :)

Don’t enjoy making bags, or don’t have the time? Never fear, we’ve got some fun projects for you too! To make things easier for you (and us!), we’ll be curating tutorials and patterns for you on the new Travel Handmade Pinterest board!
