What is Sewing Summit?

Welcome to Sewing Summit – a sewing & blogging conference for the modern sewist who wants to connect with others in a fun & inspiring setting!

We’re a cross between a traditional sewing retreat & a social media or blogging conference – but we’re also so much more than that! With hands-on workshops, networking events, inspiring speakers, informative lecture sessions and enough down-time to connect with friends new & old – Sewing Summit is the only event of its kind. Join us for a weekend of skill-building, networking, laughing & reconnecting!

History:
Sewing Summit was founded in 2010 by bloggers Amy Ellis and Erin Singleton. The first conference took place October 7th-9th, 2011 in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Over 200 sewists gathered from all around the country for a weekend of classes, networking, panels and discussions – not to mention a lot of fun!
